Piik is an open-source, self-hosted WebRTC tool for sharing screens and audio with up to 20 people. It packages the web UI, room management, and an optional media forwarding server into a single binary that stores data in SQLite. Viewers join directly through a desktop or mobile browser without installing anything.
It is worth setting up if you want a private alternative to commercial streaming tools for small groups. The catch is that direct P2P connections will fail on restrictive networks unless you configure a separate STUN or SFU fallback server. Mac and Linux desktop apps are also largely untested, so expect to run it on Windows or Linux x64 for now.
